Dr. A. N. Singh

Dr. A. N. Singh has 40 years of experience in remote Sensing & GIS applications in Soils with 10 years in International Organizations and 9 years in Govt. of India. He has been the Director of Remote Sensing Applications Centre- Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow and many projects from Govt. and International agencies viz., The World Bank and European Union have been executed under his guidance. Dr. Singh has worked in site suitability finding for rice varieties developed by IRRI and salt affected soils in Indo-Gangetic plains.


Dr. M. H. Kalubarme

Dr. M. H. Kalubarme has been a senior scientist with Space Application Centre-, Ahmedabad, ISRO and has 40 years of experience in crop mapping and monitoring using Remote Sensing techniques. Being a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and M.Sc. In Agronomy, he has vast experience of crop mapping, monitoring and yield modeling for crop production estimation for National projects of Dept. of Space.


Dr. Dharmesh Verma

Dr. Dharmesh Verma has a 20 years of experience in Remote Sensing & GIS applications in Soils mapping, monitoring, Crop Mapping and yield estimations. Dr. Verma has been managing the GIS operations of AgriNet Solutions for last 12 years and has managed and executed many innovative studies for the Govt. and Private Sector. His area of interest is ICT for Farmers advisory in pest forecast and Soil Information Systems. He is a Ph.D. in Agriculture Chemistry and M.Sc. In Soil Survey and Agriculture Land Evaluation.


Dr. Subhash Chandra Ahuja

Dr. Subhash Chandra Ahuja has 40 years of experience in rice cultivation practices and pest & disease control. He has been a Research Scientist at Kaul Rice Research Centre, Haryana. Dr. Ahuja conducted farmers schools for basmati cultivation, disease & pest control for several years and was involved in Basmati varietal survey and crop health monitoring. His experience includes trainings on Rice disease & insect control, IPM at IRRI, Manila, Rice Cultivation feasibility study in East African countries and formulation of Farmer Advisory Cell for Basmati growers. He has been involved for variety wise basmati rice area estimation and yield estimation through Crop Cutting Experiments and farmers’ survey.


Dr. Pyara Singh Gill

Dr. Pyara Singh Gill has 40 years of experience in rice cultivation agronomic practices. He has been a Director-Research at Kapurthala Rice Research Station, Punjab. Dr. Gill conducted several trainings for the growers on basmati cultivation, disease & pest control for several years and was involved in Basmati varietal survey and crop health monitoring. His experience includes trainings on Rice disease & insect control and IPM. He has been involved for variety wise basmati rice area estimation and yield estimation through Crop Cutting Experiments and farmers’ survey.
